Mercedes 300SL spotted in Knokke-Heist, Belgium

    This was a pretty crazy spot. A 300SL LeMans race car with an experimental air brake. From what I've found on the internet the air brake itself wasn't used during the 1952 race for some reason, but I'm not sure whether the car itself did drive the race. I'm not completely sure if I'm allowed to upload this, as this car was in Knokke for the Concours that weekend, although this car was parked in front of a hotel when I saw it.
