Description Not any ordinary Maybach 57 S, this is the 'China Edition', a one-off example made for the Chinese market, which has since made its way to London. The plate must be worth at least half of what this car would cost too.
Wow awesome car and fantastic picture like always. I agree the older Maybachs are cooler, even though I would've never bought one new from a value standpoint.
@KennyMk6R: Great to know that this Maybach has been spotted across Europe. Maybach is now really just a side-brand to Mercedes-Benz, with the name only now really being marketed alongside the Mercedes brand (with their side-brand of 'Mercedes-Maybach', similar to their recent introduction of 'Mercedes-AMG'). It does seem as though the Maybach variants to the new S-class are selling very well in places like London, which does give hope to the brand, though you're right about the uniqueness of the original Maybach models, given that most people will just see the new 'Mercedes-Maybach' models, and think it's just another S-class. It's cool that your dad had a Maybach though!
