@ferrarilover1019: This was found at a rug shop at the intersection of Whitesburg Dr. and Longwood Dr. It is across the street from Taco Bell. As far as I know it is there randomly and I have not seen it anywhere else. I have only spotted it on Fridays. The license plates say it resides in Giles County, Tennessee.
Yeah it's really weird. I mean, Continentals, GranTurismos, and even Californias are somewhat common in Charlotte (well they're common for their price range anyway), but SLSs for some reason do not seem to fit in with that group. I mean I'm not really a fan of the SLS (I think they're kind of ugly) but it would still be cool to at least see them every now and then.
For some reason SLSs are crazy rare here...even since that day about a year and a half ago when I saw a Roadster and a Black Series in the same afternoon, I haven't seen another one. I'm on another forum with a dedicated section to NC/SC and I'm pretty sure those two SLSs were the last ones anyone on the forum has seen in either state. There's one or two for sale in Charlotte but I haven't seen them being used as promotional vehicles or anything, although I do know that someone already has an AMG GT S so hopefully I'll manage to spot that one!
Thank you guys! Nick, I am sure you will see another one very soon. You have some very good spots from North Carolina! Joe, I am glad there is one spec'd like this where you are! It is a nice color combination. Sadly, I believe this is the only Roadster in the area. It actually resides in Tennessee but apparently visits Huntsville occasionally.
