Description You people are going to love this one as it was a VERY RISKY spot! I was driving on the PCH looking for something interesting when I saw a VERY RARE SLS AMG FINAL EDITION sitting in the garage with the door open. This was the first and only time I've seen a garage door open and decided to ask the handyman to take pictures. He actually told me NO! However, being the dedicated car spotter I am, I bravely pulled out my point-and-shoot and held it just below my waist and managed to get some pics!!! 1 of 350!!
Thank you Luke! It was a very lucky moment for me to see a final edition since they are not made anymore and the AMG GT is taking it's place. I agree with the garage design because it is unlike most out there and since this is Malibu, the beach houses get the best views of the sunrise and sunset! Usually I ask permission to take photos of cars IF someone is there so I am on the safe side, but there was NO WAY I would give up an opportunity like this!
Ashoor, this is insane! Ive seen countless SLS's but never ever seen a Final Edition! Ive always wanted to see one, but tbh, i don't think NZ will ever get one. Also, im loving this garage design! It's insane cause it's so different...
Also, I love the fact that you got a 'sneaky' shot. I would have done the same thing for this car! Some people just hate the fact that people take photos of their car, but honestly, if you own an exotic like this, you're going to attract quite a bit of attention so of course people will take photos!
Love that you still got the pic and didnt let the groundskeeper mess up the photo opportunity in the same way he might mess up detailing this exotic. Haha I can just picture him kneeling in the car right after he kneeled in some dirt planting flowers ;)
Hey Joe, check this out: believe it or not, I actually took some pictures BEFORE he came over to this garage! There was also another garage next door he was working on and there was a RR Ghost inside. Then, I was having a small talk with him about the cars as he came out, moved on to this one and that's when I asked him the question.
I just wanted to see what his response would be and felt surprised when he said that. Anyways the past is gone and it was a interesting memory. By the way this edition SLS is hard to find, yet I never thought I would see one of these.
You should have just openly taken the photo from the sidewalk, looked directly in his eyes and just walked away haha, there is nothing illegal you did and if he tried to approach you just tell him you will call the police and your lawyer if he tries anything. Anyways imo the spoiler is hideous and the that tacky ass carbon hood is awful, idk what AMG was doing when they created this final edition, I'd much rather have a normal SLS or GT
Thanks guys! Honestly I don't really care who this worker was because as you all know I was focusing on the car and trying to be careful at the same time. He explained to me that it's private property and there is heavy security presence (expensive beach house).
That's true, however I took the picture from the sidewalk, which is public property. I basically saved myself from a lot of trouble because if I entered the garage and tried to take pics of the back, then I would've gotten in trouble.
