Description Amazing SLS at a fuel station in San Bernardo, close to the Swiss border. Always wanted to catch it with the doors open, missed a chance by a few seconds in Monaco last year.
Actually pinin, the doors open within the radius of the car, so they don't go any wider than the car's body. So effectively, this is easier to park because the doors don't open wide at all...
Haha yes good episode. Doors are cool, very impractical though, parking must be a bitch. Can you imagine parking this at a sporting event? You get there early to get a good spot, and when you're leaving two bozos have parked close on either side of you and you can't open the doors. So you have to wait. Mercedes actually installed exploding charges to the hinges, so if the car rolls they explode so you can push the doors out. Pretty cool. Don't go rolling your 300SL and expecting this though, you'll be stuck for a while
