I was sad the day that Pontiac stopped, and Hummer too for that matter. It does seem they are making less, due to the Economic Crisis that everyone is banging on about, but it is rather true. And yep, Vauxhall is owned by General Motors. (The Buick Regal Fifth Gen is based on the Vauxhall/Opel Insignia)
All Opels which are sold in the UK is badged as Vauxhall for some reason. In Asian markets, this is actually badged as a Daewoo! A lot of Vauxhalls are made actually in the UK (Vauxhall Astras are made in Ellesmere Port, whilst the Opel variant is made in Russelheim, Germany)
Nuce spot, but I haven't understand yet because in U.K. the Opel was renamed in Vauxhall, in the rest of the world (a part Australia) this is a OPEL SPEEDSTER.
