Are you referring to the remake or the original? If you are referring to the original, that car was a 1931 Rolls Royce Phantom I Ascot Dual Cowl Phaeton. I saw it in person

Absolutely not the 50's. Late 20's or early 30's. And a much nicer car than a Ford of the period. And not nearly big enough to be an SJ or J Dusenberg. But I cannot tell you what it is from this angle.
