They are certainly not cheap. Although that is of course always dependent on the state of the particular car. But "cheap" is a relative term. As opposed to say an Aston Martin DB series from the same era, or a Bristol, they would be cheap!
This looks like a nicely turned out example, so it would fetch a nice price. As these virtually do not exist in the U.S. I don't see enough of them to give you a figure. I was offered one earlier this year, very cheap, but it was in need of total restoration. And that would not be cheap!
I believe I am correct to say that this is a TD21 model Alvis. Interestingly, the bodies were coachbuilt by both H.J.Mulliner, and Park Ward, the Rolls-Royce coachbuilders, under contract with Alvis. Wonderful British cars. And this one looks stunning.
