Other Vintage spotted in Taupo, New Zealand

    Was walking along the beach in Kinloch when this Original 1942 Volkswagen Kubelwagen parked by us. Was amazed to see it! This specific Kubelwagen was part of WW2. The owner picked it up when in Germany. He said he found it on the side of the road rusting.

They made the VW thing which was called the Type 181, this was the Type 82. They started making these in the late 30's.
