This is not a 996 Targa. The Targa has a mostly consistent thickness of the roof rails al the way back to the engine cover, while this gets really thick near the rear of the car, indicating a basic convertible. The rear windows are different and the roof on this car is not made of glass.

@Driveblox man: The 996 is the most "bare-bones" 911 out there.
