I just keep all my settings on auto because even though I take lots of good pictures, I know almost nothing about actual photography skills. And did you go to the 2012 Auto Show? They had an SLS AMG there and it was surrounded by ropes too.
But my best photos were definately the Focus concept.
And the GTR was imposible to get good photos of because of the ropes so i asked if i could take them away from the car and they said no. So i waited untill the show was about to end and i took the ropes off when they werent looking because it's not like it would make any difference 5 minutes to closing time.
That's what was happenning to me too so i had to change a few settings and it worked. I had to turn my exposure compensation to -1.0, i had to turn on my camera flash with an extremelly low flash fill to light up the insides of the cars' vents but not get reflections, i had to turn my vibration reduction off, i had to turn my aperature on full, and i had to put my ISO on 800. I also had to turn it to take photos in JPEG and RAW.
All of my pictures from the show turned out horrible because of the lighting indoors, so the only pictures I have that are good are the Ford Fiesta Prototype.
@veneno, oh yeah, i meant the XFR. The BMW was upstairs and that was pretty hard to photograph too.
@topgearstig, that was upstairs.
@brendon, you mean about my story of the day? i would've ran but i was told to stay by the building we were at (brothers dentist) and it was a straightaway road with a speed limit of 55. I normally would've chased them though.
