I figured out something it turns out the reason this guys cars say Texas plate is because he owns sonic automotive and they own a porche dealership in Texas.
Also before when I spotted it the first time it had a temporary plate on it that said Texas buyer. And when I spotted the I8 at MPCC the car was registered to Texas with a Texas buyer plate but that was because he worked for BMW and they gave it to him for like a year to try out. So this could be the same case but I doubt it.
No it had an NC dealer plate when I saw it. If this had a Texas plate, that almost confirms my suspicion that he also owns this white R8, which also had a Texas plate.
@Lamborghini18: Ah, thanks. That's kind of what I was thinking. I'll just have to swing by there sometime of a Saturday or Sunday and see if I get lucky.
No, you posted a pic of it a few months back, so this counts as your second picture for this 918. But you can post two pics of everything else you spot : )
Great find! It's awesome to find that this guy still has it...when my brother and I saw it, he said something about having to own it for six months before he sold it. You do know that you can post two pictures of each car you spot, right?
I think it's kind of luck of the draw. I have only seen this twice at MPCC but I have also seen a Bentley there. A vantage, this, a r8, and a few other exotics but there not there often. But I would say mid day on a Saturday would be your best bet or a Sunday.
