Description @bullchaser I hope you catch this at some point. This insane 918 drove by the Icons of the Road event but had nothing to do with the event as a dark silver 918 was already in the show. I almost missed this since I was chasing a red 458 that had gone by a few seconds earlier. This was my best spot from downtown Chicago yesterday, and as with all my spots of good cars, a pole/tree trunk/other standing nuisance was in the way. :/
It sucks when the owners don't actually drive their exotics. It's like the guy who lives about a half-hour from me in Naperville - he has a Veyron, EB110, F1, etc. that barely get driven at all. Hopefully he takes the 918 out more next year!
That really sucks that you rarely see the "good" exotics, hopefully you'll see a lot more than just a few Lamborghinis and Maseratis in the coming months! :)
I'm a El Paso native where I see a Maserati once a month and seeing a lambo there is like digging gold. I come to Houston for family and it's the only place I'll have a chance seeing one. I hope I can go to Dallas because yea that city is filled!
I understand that, it's like how everyone in my area has seen our black LaFerrari but I haven't yet. Hopefully you see a 918 soon, sounds like Dallas has plenty if you're ever there! ;)
Still jealous that almost everyone on es has seen this car and I'm still searching for my first one:( but yea cloning is hard, I wouldn't be able to do it just yet
That is true Lamborarri. They aren't legal to drive over in Aussie, just like the P1 and the LaFerrari. Although, they can be driven on the roads in New Zealand :)
