Description i wanted to wait a bit to post this, but since it's getting close to the end of the year, why not.
After i was told by DallasExotics that there's a 918 in Dallas, I went spotting on a Saturday around Highland Park, hoping i'd see this hypercar. Out of nowhere, since i couldnt hear it, it appeared before my eyes!!!!! After i spotted it, i ran to the intersection to get better shots and turns out it was bought by a friend of DeBoulle's. This is my first and hopefully not my last 918 spot!!!!
I met a guy with a 918 on strait lane, his house is a few streets away. If you want exact location, just ask. This was a few years back, so i'm not sure he still lives there. There are a bunch of cars parked outside his house.
Hey Howard I saw this back in Utah the other day and you're the first thing to come to mind. Glad it's still your top post and I was happy to see it again.
i am confused as to why this car didn't cause the stir that the P1 and the lalafirery did. it is so much better looking, performs just as well if not better, porche build quality, prius level emissions and gets like 75 mpg when driving like a normal person. this car IS the game changer that everyone is pretending the P1 and the lelalofurryfireii is. i think maybe its slightly lower price tag might have put a damper on the usual hypercar fanboy enthusiasm. EDIT-thought about it a bit, i believe it's the doors that held the 918 back, they're normal. the car enthusiast community likes their million dollar hypercars with crazy doors. if porsche had put scissor doors on this or made it a gullwing coupe, it would have been everyone's favorite.
