Description With all the Car Week posts I figured I might as well post up one of my own rare car spots. This parked by the Bass Pro Shops and had NOTHING TO DO with the show that was going on. This is one of three Mangustas I have seen in IL, and I think all of them are still in our state. Most people think this car is odd, but I actually really like it.
We own one of the approximately 30 black Qvale Mangusta's built. Had it with three other Mangustas on display last weekend at the Hilton Head Concours Club Car event. Next weekend we will be at the Winter Park Concours.
Thank you! I was so surprised to find this, I left the show (which had a Caterham and vintage Bugatti among the highlights) thinking I'd seen it all that day when this guy honked the horn of his Mangusta. Not sure why he did that as I was on the sidewalk, maybe he saw that my camera was pointed towards the road. :)
Luke if you do I will look out for your pictures of it! I talked to the owner for a bit and even got to sit in it, he was really nice and let me get as many pictures as I wanted. He also told me that since these are Ford-powered they can be serviced at Ford dealers. This guy drives it a lot, hopefully the NZ owner will too! :)
Wow Lamborarri, that's incredible! So rare. I think there is one over here in NZ. I was talking to the owner of the only BMW Z1 in NZ (which I've spotted), and he was saying that he was in the process of buying a yellow one. Hopefully I spot it.
Great spot! I personally hate the look of the car and have no idea why anyone would choose this over the other thousands of better looking and performing cars in its price range, but it's rare nonetheless!
