Description I love this car but I hate it when it is in this condition. It was covered in dust and dirt and the paint looked like it was coming off on the hood. I also see it sitting here everyday I go by and the first time I saw it was back in March. So this has probably been sitting out all summer in the Texas heat so I wouldn't be surprised if the leather is all worn out and hard.
Worst of all, people of this type frequently have their garage full of bicycles and lawn equipment, while the old Rolls-Royce sits outside, rain or shine, year after year.
While this is a sad Rolls story, I have heard a good one. I went to a car show a few days ago and I saw a 1936 Rolls Royce 25/30 Thrupp & Maberly Sports Saloon. Not sure how rare it is but it was in good condition and the owner drives it 500 to 1000 miles a month. I love to hear owners love their car that much and appreciate driving it.
It is weird that they would neglect a car like this and not take care of it. You would think someone living in a upscale neighborhood would take care of a car like this.
