Description Not sure which particular model this is, but I found this Rolls-Royce parked in front of Second Empire on Hillsborough this afternoon. Probably the oldest Rolls I've ever seen in person, can't believe it was a random spot.
The car is a Silver Wraith with design 7358 coachwork by HJ Mulliner, mounted on the long chassis between 1952 and 1958. It has been poorly modified and painted. These cars did not have side mounts, and from the photo one can see why. The home is lovely. The butchered car is not.
I absolutely love this photo. It looks so old-money South, with nothing modern to be seen. It feels like something out of an architecture coffee table book of vintage photos. L/F please keep the NC spots coming!
Thanks guys! The building is a pretty highly regarded restaurant among locals. The only other exotic I can recall seeing parked near it was a yellow older NSX several years ago, but I wonder if this might have been the owner. I only had my phone on me so the quality isn't great, but now that I look at it more, it really does look like a photo from the 1900s lol.
