- About Me I am the designer and builder of the AR-1 Supercar. I first built the AR-1 back in 1979 when I built 4 between 1979-1982, back then there was no internet so is hard to market the AR-1. We ran out of money after selling 3, after being left money from family and told to follow my dream. So 5 1/2 years later you can see my dream the new AR-1.
