@Ointy. I think the whole damn car got hit with the ugly dipstick. Looks like it was initially made by the drunken assembly of hardware store orphaned parts. It was completed by a contingent of delinquents from Juvy Hall on a field trip to the hardware store when the hard working hardware officers fell asleep on their bed of nails. This is not a great photo, either. Ashoor is a great spotter, #6, and clearly one of the best photographers on ES. This just happens not to be one of his best pictures. If this car wasn't so rare it would be buried. One thing that I do like is that the roll bars match the exhaust tips. What would Eric say?
@Bonehead: I love your comments. I still don't know if it's an act! The license plate and it's contents are part of the license plate area, which you deemed ugly. Which is as if to say the license plate and it's meaning are also ugly, which is tantalizingly ironic when you consider the definition of esoteric: "understood by or meant for only the select few who have special knowledge or interest". I'd love to think your comment is wildly clever.
