Description Poor shot but my best spot ever! Genuinely cannot beleive what i was seeing when this passed me in knightsbridge, followed it down some lane where it parked up, freaking tvr speed 12!!!!! First spot of one on this site, owner told me its an original chassis and body but with an aston martin v12, absolutely crazy thing
I don't know if this is the same car, different colour. I understand there are a couple of such projects possibly using some left over parts from TVR when they closed down, along with a ton of fabrication of parts that were not available;
It isn't 100% clear from the little I have heard or read, but I believe Graham Abbott (the fellow that has the original Speed 12) has many of the left overs, and is building up cars from them. All very interesting, wish I knew more.
It passed me on the road next to hr owen ferrai and i followed it down a side street for about a min before it parked, only my 2nd time in london so its still like a maze to me, had to get a taxi back to the station as i got completely lost later on in the evening
You won't find much info on this particular Speed 12 because there isn't a whole lot on it. This particular one isn't the one TVR built rather one that is an exceptional recreation to the one TVR built and sold. You can find the real Cerbera Speed 12 W112 BHG at Lakeland Motor Museum.
The best spot I've seen here. It does not get more rare than this one. Amazing find, Alex.
I've reached out to UKAuto to see if they have any info on the car beyond the short internet articles on it. Here is another decent one: http://www.topspeed.com/cars/tvr/1998-tvr-cerbera-speed-12-ar10668.html
Thanks everyone, awesome to see people that recognise what it is, the folk of london seemed more intrested in the 458 across the street, absolutely clueless
