Description I really love this true spotter moments. You are on your way to run some errands and suddenly a MF5 Roadster shows up in a small town. My brother and I followed the car and after it parked, my brother noticed the car was driven by Martin Harnik, a famous soccer player of VfB Stuttgart. Haha, quite a nice surprise today. This guy is a true roadster fan, it was freezing cold and he is still driving with tops down =D
That is really cool that you saw one here, hope you find it again!! The only other one I know of that's ever been in the US is an MF4 Roadster, but it was here for Gumball 3000 so I think it got a free pass. In 2011, they expressed some interest in selling their cars here but they never did because it would have been too expensive for them to make a US-spec model that met safety regulations. They went under a few years later and they have not made any other mention of trying to sell cars here.
What a sweet car!
@Lamborarri Well then, I saw a law-breaker in Florida. I had a similar moment to vwup's here, and similar to my blue 918 spyder I spotted in an area where I would never expect to see one. I was just passing over the Florida Turnpike, in by no means a rich or fancy area of town, when I spotted a Wiesmann driving on the Turnpike! The luck I possessed to see this car literally as I was passing over the Turnpike was insane. I didn't get a shot of it, as I was unaware of ExoticSpotter's existence at this time (it was over 2 years ago). But, still, I just happened to look down and to the right (thankfully I wasn't driving) and boom: A Wiesmann.
