BMW Z8 spotted in Wilmington, North Carolina

Details on This BMW Z8:

  • Location
    Wilmington, North Carolina
  • Description
I hadn't seen one of these in years, so I thought I'd post this Z8 I spotted in Wrightsville Beach (which unfortunately is too long of a city name to fit in the category). What do you think of the shot?

Thanks for the comments everyone! Jackson I'm not sure if this is a real Alpina or just as the wheels from it...couldn't hear it drive past but I know that the Alpinas are exclusively automatics and the regular Z8s are exclusively manuals, and that's the only way to tell for sure. And Patrick this was driving out of Wrightsville Beach on US 76 and I'm not sure where it was going.

Nice spot. I had not seen a Z8 before like, 2013. Then I saw 2 in a time frame of about 2 weeks, then haven't seen any since.

especially the aplina z8
only 555 ever made and only 444 made it to the usa and they don't get spotted that often

Thanks West! I only wish I had a DSLR for this shot, although the coastal climate is pretty harsh on a camera.

These were built in such small numbers and seeing them is a rare treat for sure. Also the shot is just right.

Haha that was pretty funny! I didn't think anyone would bother to look at it, to be honest. And I didn't know it was an Aplina. Thanks guys!

I love how both Lamborarri and both immediately went to look at it. :)

Could have been the same one. I hear that many of the people in Landfall also own houses on Wrightsville Beach, and drive their cars there occasionally.
