Lotus Esprit spotted in Wilmington, North Carolina

Details on This Lotus Esprit:

    It's not often that you see two of the exact same cars parked next to each other in NC, but that's what I found at the Wrightsville Yacht Club. I would have the black one, though with different wheels the red one would look awesome. Which for you? I'm uploading this as the black Esprit by the way.

Never knew that, Andecorp! Thanks for the heads up; I thought there was something different about the two cars, but I'm not an expert on Lotus (especially cars they don't make anymore) so I wasn't sure what the differences were. The black one had a plate that said "TT V8," so I believe it may be twin turbocharged.

The red has a much cooler exhaust. The wing is huge though.

From the exhaust, rear valance and wing, the red one is a final edition 2004 car. The black one has the early V8 (1997) wing, rear valance and exhaust, and it has grafted on it the rear/tail lights of a 2004 car. Different animals under the skin. Red all the way!
